Beanscene is a fast paced environment and involves lots of hard work - so its not for the faint hearted!   It is however a great opportunity to work as part of a friendly and fun team as well as meet a lot of great like-minded people.

STORE SET-UP:

Each Beanscene requires a fulltime Team Leader, who with the help of both full-time and part-time Supervisors (Duty Managers) to provide flexibility of cover to our 7am to 11pm operation. Our stores are heavily supported from a team of Operations Managers.

TEAM LEADER (Store Managers)

This is a full time position and a 'hands on' co-ordinating role.  You'll be required to work on early mornings, late evenings and weekend shifts:

You'll be responsible for all the day-to-day operational aspects of running a successful business, including:

• Meeting and surpassing all relevant Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) and set financial targets. 
• Ensuring your outlet is profitable and ultimately driving the business forward.
• Ensuring all aspects of company paperwork and completed accurately and in a timely manner.

 Have a sound working knowledge of :

• Staff and Rota management
• Ordering and stock holding
• Stock counting
• P&:::L's
• Delivery of consistently excellent customer service standards
• Maintaining and monitoring our unique Beanscene vibe
• Assisting in the on-going training and development for all members of your team
• Understanding and implementing all legal requirements including:
• Employment Law
• Food Safety
• Health and Safety
• Licensing Provisions

Previous experience within a fast paced retail or catering environment is considered essential.

DEPUTY TEAM LEADER (Assistant Manager) :

Working closely with a Team Leader you will be a strong support to the daily operation to the business. To successfully fulfil this position you are required to have a basic working knowledge of the job specification of the Team Leader.  :

This position is a fantastic opportunity to develop a solid skill base and play a key role in running a successful unit.

STORE SUPERVISORS (Duty Managers)

This can be either a full or part time supervisory position.
::::::You'll be required to work on early morning, late nights and weekend shifts.  Working closely with the Team Leader, you'll be responsible for all the day-to-day operational aspects of helping to run a successful business, including:

• Delivery of consistently excellent customer service standards
• Maintaining and monitoring our unique Beanscene vibe
• Understanding and implementing all legal requirements including: employment law,
• Food Safety
• Health and Safety
• Licensing Provisions

Previous experience within a fast paced retail or catering environment is considered advantageous.

BARISTAS:

At Beanscene our Baristas are the heartbeat of every store. From serving perfect cappuccinos to mastering latte art - our team are an eclectic bunch. Each of them play their own part in helping to create that infamous Beanscene atmosphere!

We will provide you will full training therefore knowing a caffé latte from a flat white is not essential (but always helps).

It is essential for you to have a passion for the hospitality environment and the proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
